The Krasnodar Territory discussed the supply of Kuban agricultural products with Chinese entrepreneurs

A delegation from China held a regular business mission in Krasnodar.

«China is the second largest buyer of Kuban products. Over the past six months, the total trade turnover of the Krasnodar Territory with China has grown more than 1.5 times, and exports have increased by 36 per cent. We are focused on the health resort industry and are interested in purchasing light industry goods from representatives of the People’s Republic of China», said Vasiliy Vorobyev, head of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity.

Business representatives from China held several meetings with Kuban manufacturers and visited the Aquarium Innovation Center. The guests were introduced to specialized services designed for small and medium-sized businesses, such as prototyping and engineering centers. They were told about the work of the Innovation Development Fund.

China and Kuban are strengthening their bilateral foreign trade ties. The region’s main exports are oil and fat products, oilseeds and fruits, meat and meat by-products, as well as plastic products.

On a previous occasion, the Chinese explored a flour mill in Ust-Labinsk, a grain elevator, vegetable oil production plants, cattle breeding enterprises, and a sugar factory .
