Agro-industrial complex
Slavyansk district produces over a third of all Kuban rice. The district’s agro industrial sector consists of 24 large and medium-sized enterprises, with 18 dedicated to rice cultivation. Over 4,000 individuals work in this industry. In total, agricultural businesses in the district yielded 335,000 tons of rice, 134,000 tons of winter wheat, and 62,000 tons of fruits.
