- Estuaries and water bodies. Estuaries and water bodies are abundant in fish resources. The large migration of geese during the fall and winter, along with the consistent presence of game during hunting season, provide opportunities for commercial hunting.
- In Slavyansk district, there is the only iodine deposit in Russia, Troitskoye. The estimated reserve exceeds 4 billion cubic meters. The sources of iodobromic mineral water and therapeutic mud from this deposit are extensively utilized in balneology.
