Kuban’s exports for the first half of 2023 increased by 12% up to $4.8 billion

Krasnodar Territory’s exports in the first half of 2023 grew by 12% year-over-year, up to $4.8 billion, Governor of the region Veniamin Kondratiev told the reporters.

He emphasized that the Middle East, North Africa and Asia are among the main overseas export destinations.

«In general, for six months Kuban’s exports totalled over $4.8 billion. This is almost 12 per cent more than last year. In terms of structure, the majority is traditionally food and agricultural raw materials. We also export fuel: diesel and products for oil refining. We sell metal products and chemicals, electrical machinery and other equipment,» the Governor said.

Since the beginning of 2023, exports of meat and dairy products in Kuban reached $40 million, which is a 1.5 fold increase compared to the same period last year.
